The gite Les Libellule is situated in the village of Luzac, in the Charente Maritime France, near to the town of Marennes and the Ile d'Oleron, and the seaside resort of Royan. The nearest beach to Luzac is Marennes plage just 8 km.

The Charente Maritime is the second sunniest department of France after the Cote d'Azur, situated on the West Atlantic coast one can enjoy eating outside from about April through to October. The region is famous for its oysters, pineau des Charente, Cognac and breathtaking fields of sunflowers.

There is so much to see and do, something for everyone, endless sandy beaches found on the second largest island of France, the Ile d'Oleron, and the Cote Sauvage with its great Atlantic rollers perfect for good surf.

Marennes plage, just five minutes drive is ideal for families with small children, the lagoon is child friendly.

Plenty of 'Chateaux' to visit for all those wine and Cognac enthusiasts.

Parc Aventure Forestier at plage de Gatseau on Ile d'Oleron, is great fun for both children and adults.

Gite Availability

All Prices are per week from Saturday to Saturday.

Arriving after 4pm departing before 10am.

Pillows , duvets and bedding are provided.

Cots are available if needed, but cot bedding is not provided.

Highchairs are available.

A deposit of 25% is required with the final balance due 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. A deposit of £100 is required to cover damage to the property/ contents and is returned after the holiday ends.

Les Libellule is non-smoking.
